Product Description The absorber was designed over 30 years ago to dry cars and trucks. It is the ORIGINAL PVA shammy. The super absorbent power of the absorber not only dries your car quickly, but leaves a streak free finish behind. Once the absorber is saturated with water simply wring it out and continue drying your vehicle. For the hood of your car we recommend that you lay the absorber flat on the surface and pull it across the hood, trunk, or car top. Let the absorber do the work for you as it sucks up the water as you move across the surface of your vehicle. You can fold the absorber to dry the side panels of your vehicle. The absorber can be used to dry the nooks and crannies of your vehicle. This is a distinct advantage over blade type and other drying devices. The absorber is reinforced with a mesh scrim for added durability and strength, but has NO surface fibers which makes it safe for all paint finishes. It also will not remove wax from your vehicle as you dry it. It is resistant to most chemicals. It is unharmed by grease and oils. Best of all the absorber is machine washable and will last for years.

I love these things August 28, 2005 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
These will dry your car with no streaks and you can use it over and over and throw it in the washer. Best of all you can wring it as you dry your car so it becomes bone dry again. Great for windows where streaks usually show up, but not after "the absorber."

We have had one of these for YEARS (10+) & it still works great! Cleans the car with no streaks. Just roll up & store (damp) in container.
Great Product March 7, 2008 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Pros: -Works better than a chamois in absorbing water. -Does not produce streaks when drying autos. Spotfree! -I cut it in half or a quarter size and it is great on the kitchen tops, sink, bathroom,... -Works marvelous on kitchen spills -Available almost everywhere -Cheaper than chamois
Cons: -You have to store it moist in the canister or it will dry stiff as a cardboard. (Dip it on water and it is good to go again). -Storing it moist promotes growth of bacteria and micro-organism. Forget about using it on your body as a towel or drying your plates, pots and utensils.
Get One! April 24, 2007 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
At my job we transport all levels of VIP and this calls for clean, detailed vehicles at all time. We count on these to help keep our vehicles clean and dry. I bought my first ine in 1992 and used it almost weekly for 8 years. They're grest for houshold spills too. On top of that, you can just throw it in the washing machine if it get's dirty. They are great to have and the make great gifts.
Dog Towel May 6, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
No more wet dog towels to dry. Its curious how this material seems to suck out water on contact. It's a fast job to get a Golden Retriever damp-dry, only wringing out the absorber once.
