Well, winter will be coming upon us, and rather than clean my car off with a magazine/modified cardboard box top, I thought a real snow/ice scraper would be handy. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just enough to get the job done decently. For under $4 and free S/H with a minimum Amazon order, I think this is a good deal.
The picture pretty much is it. The construction is pretty sturdy. The entire length is about 1'10" and brush is just under 7". The width of the ice scraper is about 4". The handle is solid thick plastic with a hole at the top for easy hanging, though mine is going in the back of the car.
I did manage to crack the ice scraper at the very tip when testing out the "flexibility" of the scaper, but I do not think this should inhibit its functioning.
People who are very short/have short arms are probably not going to be able to clean off the top of the car or the middle of an SUV windshield very easily with this though.

I just bought the product for our 2nd car and to make total $ 25 for free shipping. But when we received it, I was really surprised. this was much better in strength than to my similar previous snowbrush. Price was really competative for one available at Walmart. The handle has very stronge grip. I would vote 5/5 for this product at this price.

It is as good as I expected it to be and for the best price I could find. Even cheaper than at the store! Also it is small and thin so you can just hide it in the car and remember it only when you need it.

This is an excellent snow brush made by Hopkins Manufacturing Company (Hoppy). It's easy to hold onto to get snow and ice off the windows of your vehicle and as long as the ice isn't very thickly caked onto the glass of your vehicle this does a fine job.
The snowbrush comes as both an ice scraper and a brush to remove snow. Both of these features work best after a snowfall that is lighter and/or wetter. If there's six inches of snow and ice on your windshield, turn on the motor and while using this brush let the heat of the car help to melt the snow and ice away.
It is mostly made of plastic; and as another reviewer notes the ice scraper could break if you apply too much pressure to it. However, unless you break it so badly that it just can't be used anymore the ice scraper will still be useful to you.
If your arms are too short to reach the middle of the windshield just do your best to clear away as much as you can. Don't drive if there are large areas of your windshield, side and rear windows that cannot be cleared.
The ice scraper and snow brush are constructed very well so this should last you a long while.
Overall, this is a fine ice scraper/snowbrush combination by Hoppy. I highly recommend it.

This scraper/brush was exactly what I was looking for to replace a similar scraper that finally broke after years of use. Works great so far. Brush is effective at removing ice scrapings as well as light snow. Great scraper for the price.
