Maas Is Boss! November 30, 2006 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I'm late to the Maas bandwagon, having only used it for a few months but I'm a total convert. Loving silver as I do, I have quite a collection and polishing it every few weeks with conventional polish became quite a chore. With Maas, I find that I need polish much less often which is welcome news. The clincher for me, though, is that several of the older pieces never really responded to my old polish and I thought they were beyond repair. With Maas and a little elbow grease, they positively sparkle.
Great Product November 14, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This product is awesome for polishing silver, copper and brass. What is even better is that I don't have to polish as often because the Maas seems to slow down tarnishing. I love the stuff!
Really works to polish silver March 26, 2007 Bought this for my 78 yr old mother to polish silver. It really works
WONDERFUL PRODUCT! November 15, 2008 My husband and I have been using Maas polishing creme for many years now and would not use anything else. We tried many other products and none could compare to the great job that Maas metal polish does. It is a wonderful product. Do you have to do some rubbing? Of course. But that is the case with all cleaning products. Silver, chrome and brass is all we have used the product on and have always been very pleased. Also, you do not have to polish as frequently when using this product.

polishing pewter September 10, 2006 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I got a 2 oz. tube of Maas metal polishing creme from a hardware store. I tried it on an antique pewter tankard from England. I had tried polishing this item before with another metal cleaner and didn't do much. The Maas creme, however, really shined it up. It took more work than the 'wipe on, wipe off' advertising however. I had to keep polishing it for a while. The black grime filled up a whole old cotton tee shirt. I now have a beautifully shined tankard, although now I can also see the slight pitting and scratches that were under the grime. But I still think it looks great. The shine is like brand new pewter, but the mug is still clearly an antique. I wonder about the chemicals left on my rag though. Can I put it in the washing machine or must it be thrown out? I'm also wondering if these chemicals can get in food if I use it on my silver platters. Even after washing, I can smell the substance on what I polish.
