Got Light?? May 12, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
After recently purchasing a new motorcycle, I like to be seen. So I purchased these PIAA bulbs and wow, what a differance they make. Although they are claimed to be legal in all states, these babies really light up the night. Now if they last a while, I'll be completely happy with them. Some other brands seem to wear out quickly. PIAA has the best name in automotive lighting. But right now, I am completely happy with them. I ride during the day with my brights on and use the dims at night. But when I own the road by myself and switch on the high-beams, the night turns into day. You can see it all. I don't think many hazards will be able to jump out in front of me without me seeing them first. And that in its self is worth everything to me. They were a little more expensive, but as far as I'm concerned, worth every penney. Still a really good deal.

What a change from to original headlights! I can distinguish much better between ice and just wet road surfaces. The color change I thought would be a problem for other drivers, but I have had them for over two weeks and not one driver has flashed the highbeams at me to get me to lower them. I am very happy with these bulbs.

Man are these lights bright. I purchased these lights for a dual headlight GL1500 and they really light up the road at night. When riding at night it's nice to have the extra light to see the deer and other road hazards. I would recommend these lights to anyone who can use the H4/9003 applications. P.S. They don't pull anymore wattage then a standard bulb at 60/55 watts rating.
Brighter, Great customer service November 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All I can say is these new lights are MUCH brighter than the stock ones that came with my 2003 Honda Civic. I'm glad I bought them. I has some delay in shipping. Turned out to be the Post Office. The seller responded to my concerns quickly and professionally and went beyond the call of duty. Would highly recommend.
Can't put a price on safety February 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These things definitely help you see the road better than stock lights. Sure they cost more, but they may just make the difference between seeing that deer in time or hitting it. Also, they make your car look pretty sharp a well. No, they don't have that stupid blue/purple look you see a lot, just a very bright white with a slight blue hue to it, which is not noticeable while driving, just when looking at them from the outside. Definitely recommend them.
Also, just to be clear, to your car, they are the same as any other H4 bulb. They use the same wattage and voltage. Though they are similar to HID lights in terms of light quality, they do not use the same mechanics, and do not need an HID ballast installed like HID conversion kits, which may also be illegal to use, as they often let too much light bleed up toward the eyes of oncoming drivers - nothing gets a cop's ticket-writing hand itchier than being blinded. You don't have anything to worry about using these bulbs.
